PR & Social Media Internship Opportunity

Forté PR is looking for an aspiring PR / social media professional to join our team as an intern. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly-organized person who wants real-world agency experience. The ideal intern finds being accountable for results and sharing creative ideas to be inviting and exciting.

Our clients are an exciting collection of brands dedicated to improving people’s lives. They include both national and local companies in the health, fitness and active lifestyle space.

Our perfect intern is a tech-savvy team player who is passionate about health & fitness. With an understanding of AP Style and MAC, this person thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is high-energy, ambitious and a creative thinker.  Our intern is comfortable manipulating data in Excel, working with graphics files and creating magic with Canva. Our intern is familiar with logging into the admin section of a blog or website and scheduling social media using dashboards like HootSuite. The ability to craft a witty tweet is a must.

Duties include media clipping and creating digital clip books, creating and managing media lists on Cision, organizing photo files, assisting in research, scheduling social media content, social community building, and creating content upon request. Must be pursuing a degree in journalism, PR, communications or marketing and be able to work 15 hours per week.
